Pisse Waterfall

Pisse waterfall

The walk to the Pisse waterfall from Le Désert-en-Valjouffrey is a really enjoyable excursion, especially for families with children.

The fact that the path is easy and runs alongside the river makes for a picturesque and surely refreshing experience, especially in summer when you can spot the sheep.

A picnic in the shade seems an excellent idea to get the most out of the experience, especially given the heat that can prevail during the route.

The estimated time for the return trip to the cascade de La Pisse (2h15) or the refuge de Font Turbat (6h) is a good guide to planning the day.

It's important to make sure you have enough time to enjoy the magnificent scenery and perhaps even take a relaxing break by the waterfall or near the refuge.

However, it should be noted that this hike is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and pets are not allowed, which may limit the participation of some visitors.

All in all, this excursion looks like an excellent option for nature lovers looking for a relaxing and immersive experience in the mountains.
